From The Archives – Shields Volcanos in the Solar System

During a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands in 2018, we stopped off at Sierra Negra, a large shield volcano at the southeastern end of Isabela Island that rises to an altitude of 1124m. We took the opportunity to talk about how these volcanos work and discuss where else we find them in the Solar System!
